Every subscriber received a paper doll with their first magazine which was published originally weekly, a dress together with a hat was published with each edition. A box with a wooden stand was also given for free but only where the publisher had established a distributor and they are extremely rare! The dresses here are numbered 98,99,102,103,106,108 and are therefore from the second year of publication. It is important to note that this paper doll was not a toy for little girl but it was a real fashion model published for young ladies and showing the real fashion, the publisher wrote that there were a number of publications showing the fashion of the day but only his paper dolls allowed the fashionista of the time to appreciate the dresses from various angles. We have here the original box and stand together with the original doll and 6 dresses complete with their hats, the doll is 19.5cm tall, the box is 28cm x 14cm x 2cm.
