Dutch peepshow box circa 1750 together with a number of Engelbrecht peepshows.
Oak box with a green finish fitted with a viewing lens, the panels for each peepshow fit upside down inside the box,
when the viewer is held upright the peepshows can be viewed through the lens reflected on an angled mirror thus increasing the perspective effect.
The box is 45 cm long x 16.5 cm wide or 17 3/4" x 6 1/5".
